woodward dream cruise - pleasant ridge

Nestled between Royal Oak and Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge celebrates the Woodward Dream Cruise at Cork Wine Pub.

Every August, Cork Wine Pub in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, celebrates the Woodward Dream Cruise.

On this day and the days leading up to the Dream Cruise customers display and showcase their Vintage cars while they wine and dine on the patio.

It’s a Nationally recognized event and grows larger each year. The first official Dream Cruise took place on Woodward Avenue in 1995. The organizers expected around 30,000 to 40,000 people to show up and the event brought out more than 250,000 people.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest single day classic car event in the word and generates over $56 million dollars annually to the local economy.  The dream Cruise now attracts more than 1.5 million people and over 40,000 classic cars from around the world.

Local communities like Ferndale, Royal Oak, Pleasant Ridge, Huntington Woods and Berkley host various raisers and  promotional activities associated with the event.

Here you see, good friend and Cork patron, Steve Watkins celebrating in style with this classic beauty.
